Landing Better Clients and Sending Big Proposals
Step 1: Long(ish) website intake form which includes BUDGET field. – Qualify your lead
Step 2: Adjust budget if necessary.
Step 3: Suggest 3 times you are available to speak.
Step 4: Schedule a time and Meet With Client – in person or on the phone
Step 5: Record the phone call or meeting – use the “Go Wide Go Deep technique” – Why? Why else? Why else?
Step 5: Send the recording to Rev.com for transcription
Step 6: Email client the meeting transcription immediately & tell them you will followup soon with a proposal
Step 8: Follow up every 3 or 4 days with value packed emails (Don’t look desperate – don’t mention the proposal)
Step 9: Only ask about the proposal after constantly delivering value. If they still don’t respond, go back to sending value emails.
Step 10: Position yourself as the expert. Deliver value until they bite.
